BMW M3 GTS - Nurburgring Test Drive

I have to say that the BMW M3 GTS is causing me to finally start liking the e92 M3's.  Sue they have no low-end torque, weight too much, and are too complex, but when you rip out half the junk, bolt on a front splitter and rear wing, and paint the whole thing orange, it becomes a little more interesting.

Ferrari 599XX production-derived sports car record at the Nordschleife - 6:58.16

The Ferrari 599XX is the first ever production-derived sports car to break the 7-minute barrier on the classic 20.832 km Nordschleife circuit, lapping in 6 min 58.16 sec. Now some might question the definition of "production-derived ", but this is a pretty awesome lap. Enjoy!

Zen lap of the Nurburgring - BMW M3

I thought there was something beautifully simple about this lap of the Nordschliefe in this perfectly stock e46 M3. If you happen to be one of the folks, (like me) that started with a bone-stock car for track days that soon morphed into a collection of adjustable shocks, springs, brakes, wheels, seats and harnesses, it is kind of nice to see the purity of machine and track that exists in this video.  Enjoy!

Car Porn Deluxe - "Flux Capacitor" edition - AWW Motorsports e46 M3 at the Ring

Not sure if I'm drawn to this video because of the great driving and car set-up performed by AWW Motorsport, or because of the disco light display on the dash. I'm guessing that it has something to do with monitoring the engine firing order, fuel/air mix, or it is just visualizing some cool German Techno music from a Berlin radio station. Enjoy!

Car Porn Deluxe - "Too Cool for Summer" edition - Derek Bell Pilots the Bentley Continental Supersports up the hill at Goodwood.

What a great way to spend a sunny summer day in England. Blast up the hill at Goodwood in a 621hp Bentley that weighs as much as a small dump truck, but goes from 0 to 60 as fast a F430, piloted by none other than Derek Bell, (watch him tame the Nurburgring in a Porsche 962). Enjoy!

BTW- Notice how they edit in footage from Derek in the car by himself to Derek with a passenger, if you look at his hands you can see the production error.
